Did you like the idea of different colored coded handouts?

Personally, I love this.  I have done different colored tests in a large classroom of students, but that was because the tests were actually different.  I like the idea of handing out other assignments in this way and plan to do it in my next class.

test taking

formative evaluations also provide insight overall on how well tests are appropriate toward student learning needs as they progress through the course

How are you shaping your lesson plans so today’s lab work turns into tomorrow’s job-site success?

In our world of trades education, lesson plans shouldn't just checklists-they should be living documents, our own Cliff Notes that guide us, adapt with us, and keep the end goal in focus. The real measure of success is whether what we teach today shows up in our students skills tomorrow, on the jobsite, in the field, and under real pressure.

How are you keeping your plans alive, relevant, and aimed at the career wins our students need?

Role Playing

I have facilitated a Mock Clinic that students seem to enjoy. I encourage improvisation and allowed one individual to be a difficult patient while experiencing an emergency. The students had to navigate how to navigate these situations while others kept the clinic flowing conducting patient care without missing a beat. This activity is one of the most requested in this group of students. I enjoy seeing them hone their skills in patient intake and finding confidence in applying the skills learned in class and lab.

Personal information

What type of personal information is okay to share with students?

Do you still USBs? Or do you prefer to use online Clouds?

Keeping data safely is very important. As a teacher you need to analyze which is the best option TODAY to keep your files, info, reviews, tips etc. You will use this information often specially if you teach in different places.

What Artificial Intelligence resources do you know today?

Artificial Intelligence is now a trend, and most students are digitally outstanding. As teachers we should be aware of all the tools they can use to take advantage or even copy others authors information.

Lesson Plan Ideas with Objectives

After this course, I have fresh ideas for evaluating students as they approach tasks and skill development in class. So many helpful takeaways and I appreciate the lesson planning template. I have made a variety of templates but will make sure objectives are clearly (and simply) written with the specific outcomes mentioned too.
