This module was very informative as far as the student facing, from an HR perspective, maintaining professionalism when interacting with students is essential because every employee serves as a representative of the school. The way we communicate, support, and guide students directly reflects our values, culture, and commitment to excellence. Professional conduct builds trust, ensures fairness, and fosters a safe and respectful learning environment.
This same standard of professionalism applies to all school employees, as their behavior, both in and outside the classroom shapes how the school is perceived by students, families, and the community. A single interaction can strengthen or damage our reputation. By demonstrating respect, clear communication, integrity, and consistency in every situation, staff contribute positively to the school’s image and reinforce our dedication to student success and well-being.
In this module, I am reminded how student satisfaction, school compliance, high quality education, and strong customer service all work together to create a successful learning environment.
Professional standards are critical to establishing credibility and engendering trust with a student that can impact admissions and retention
Great refresher on the "why" behind professionalism, also good reminders regarding handing student complaints appropriately.
As of today they're getting rid of the department of education, so not sure how long any of these regulations will be in place. Hopefully they are still maintained, as education is the entrance of opportunity.
It was great learning the "do's" and "don'ts" in this module.
I learned a lot from this module! Learning about what to do, and what not to do was a great opportunity for me.
This module is just fantastic!!!!
This is enlightening as he serves as a reminder that students are always watching and trusting to the staff, ensure they know what they are doing. Acting professionally and being transparent goes far. It will also help build trust and leaves a strong, positive impression of the school.
La importancia de las entidades regulatorias para que los procesos marchen con honestidad
This course was a great reminder that we are the example of professionalism for our prospects and students. Our communication, integrity, and intentions create an atmosphere that affects our campus and influences all of those we interact with.
wow i wished i would have received this training at the beginning of my start date
This module teaches me how important it is to leave a mark on people, both employees and students, by doing things with values, regardless of whether other people do it the same way.
Agreed...
This module really reiterated just how vital it is to be as transparent and forthcoming with students as you can be. Withholding information is not only worst practice but can have the potential to completely close your facility as it directly goes against regulation.
...Super informative. Being honest, transparent, and compliant!
Creating a compliant culture that adheres to professional standards is essential for fostering integrity, transparency, and accountability. To build a compliant culture I liked the points made of tying it into an institutions mission, to make sure all employees know that every call can impact reputation and credibility, and to know that the triad is there to ensure students are protected.
I had not heard of "mystery shoppers" who could actually be people from the new media, regulatory agencies, or even Arizona College folks checking the integrity of the school. Interesting!
It clarified about the differences between Federal Education regulation and regulation by State and Accrediting agencies for me.
This module has taught me the importance of staying in compliance, and the repercussions of non-compliance on both school and students. It also taught me the importance of transparency with prospective students. There is a lot in the module. I also appreciated the part on customer service and integrity and how that transcends into the community.
Being transparent and empowering the entire team to be able to answer questions and provide accurate and relevant information is the key to minimizing student complaints. it is important that staff is aware that if they don't have the information to involve others who can help answer student concerns.
