I learned the core leadership principles, focusing on leading by example, adapting my approach based on the situation, and balancing grace with accountability. Proper leadership emphasizes humility, transparency, and building mutual respect.

The core ethic pillars are truthfulness and transparency, conflict of interest prevention, confidentiality, and eliminating systemic bias. Admissions professionals are personally accountable for balancing their duties to the institution, the families, and the broader education system.

I learned that having a clutter free environment along with establishing my professional presence and adapting to my audience will help engage my students and make the admissions process much easier.

Most of the time, students already have all of the information on pricing for our program. Typically when they call they are looking for reassurance and understanding.

Admissions professionals are not just administrators; they function as marketers, counselors, and community builders. Administrators follow strict ethical and professional standards set by industry organizations to ensure fairness and equity in the admissions process along with providing counseling and support for the students and families.

Guidelines are important because they keep us in a specific area we need to stay in.

This is all much needed for the company, and how the company is being ran.

It is important to do the right thing in every situation, integrity goes a long way.

I learned a lot from this module! Learning about what to do, and what not to do was a great opportunity for me.
