In this course, I learned about new/correct terms to use in the admission process. It gave me an understanding of Independent Postsecondary Educational Institutions and FAC Codes, statues and regulations necessary for compliance. It is important to know the policies or any changes.
It is important to know the details and Process on how the Florida Commission for Independent Education work and what it requires. When talking with a prospective student, you need to show secure of the information they will ask about the enrollment process and the details about the university. From both side, is important to define if the college is a good fit for the student, as the student has to know if it is the right choice for them. I Intend to learn everything and the policies and rules, so I can give the right information to my team and possible students.
Hello! This is my first full-time position in Admission, and this module was very helpful. It gave me an understanding on how the admissions process goes and how we can be effective representatives in the field. I found the Admissions Resource Notebook section insightful because it allows us to gather information about our institutions and allows us to work off of and add notes to it when policies and procedures change, and to keep up to date with our institutions admission processes.
I have learning the concepts i need to master as an addmisions agent to fulfill the role successfully. I find it an excellent guide for constant learning.

I am the Admissions Leader at my school and so far the module has been very informative. I have learned to keep a resource notebook where I will have the terms/definitions printed and placed in the notebook for record keeping.
