Microblogging is another way to connect with student to share information and create an online community.
This module was very informative with the use of microblogging for posting reminders, changing assignment due dates or upcoming assignments etc.

This module helped me understand the power of microblogging for sharing quick ideas and building engagement. I’ve learned how short, focused posts can spark discussions, share insights, and create a sense of community in online learning spaces. Moving forward, I plan to use microblogging techniques to share key takeaways from readings, ask thought-provoking questions, and connect with peers in a more meaningful way.

Assignments need to be specific with detailed direction and expectations.
Being able to use micro blogging to assign homework is great. Also being able to control how or if texting can be used when inputting information also noticing the difference between post and repost.

There are multiple ways to merge microblogging into an online course. I Like the idea of being able to post test questions as this can be done effectively as a test review session.
This is my first time hearing about microblogging. It’s important that you make sure the importance of what is being posted. Show examples to the students as to what is appropriate to post.

this course gave me an idea to think about setting exact times throughout class for micro posts rather than just 1 pr 2 per class.

This section provided knowledge about micro blogging. Topics included hashtags and inquiry based learning. useful tools such as Nurph and Edmodo were offered as places where educators could create student only controls of sharing. In addition three ways to provide content helped illustrate other non professor content possibilities.

Interestingly enough microblogging can connect the assignment to the course learning outcomes. There are so many ways to learn through microblogging from following a person, topic or to summarizing a blog, message, or article.
