What I learned from this section or module was how to assess blogging with the participants to make sure that they understand that this is grade oriented. It is a part of the assessment and it's a way to make sure that they participate in assignments that are given through the micro blog as well

Being able to use micro blogging to assign homework is great. Also being able to control how or if texting can be used when inputting information also noticing the difference between post and repost.

Not every student will have the same rubric. It just depends on what they're doing. Not everybody is on the same level as far as their work. So one rubric will not fit every single student

I have learned that setting a rubric will help with the social networking of my students. It's going to give me some benchmarks on if they're mastering or not mastering the tools needed to elevate themselves on social media

Social media is a good thing for students who are used to doing it, but for students who are uncomfortable or do not have a social media presence, it makes it hard for them to market themselves. I also think that with social media using different platforms that we have are great. It helps the student learn to market themselves, but it also gives them an idea of what possibilities are out there when you do market yourself the correct way on social media.

I'm interested in blogging. I have not done it yet. But I do encourage my students those that are interested in blogging or have done so to blog about their practice and what they do. I think it gives them more clarity on the direction they're going in and it can be impactive to their learning abilities.

I think it's very important that students participate and are engaged in class. It helps you learn about them and it also helps you see if they are retaining and understanding what you are presenting to them when they have to do it on their mannequin or even when they get on the floor and they are working on a client.

Having students do a short biography by the end of the day helps you really get to know about their academic background, employment reasons why they're taking the courses and asking and finding out what the students expect from the me.

I learned  about online teaching techniques. The courses the students can view and how they will be able to work at a pace that is comfortable for them.
