At my school as part of the admission process we have integrated a per-intake interview for the incoming student. The students get one-on-one attention, they get to meet and talk with the instructors and support staff, it also give the student the opportunity to asked any pending questions, or seek clarification prior to the start of the program. Each interview last 15-20 minutes, mentorships are formed and our faculty get to formalate plans for academic success based on predetermined questions asked of the student, with the process we have seen an increase in enrollments, retention and overall student satisfaction. This course is very informative, it has given me good ideas that will also be integrated into the programs.
