This module emphasized the importance of staying informed and organized as an admissions representative by maintaining a Resource Notebook with up-to-date regulatory, institutional, and program information. I learned that regularly updating policies, procedures, and marketing materials ensures compliance with Fair Consumer Practices and helps provide accurate information to prospective students. I intend to apply this by using a checklist to keep my documents current, attending institution meetings and training, and staying informed about rules, accreditation, and industry trends to enhance my effectiveness in admissions.
