I have learned that there are specific policies and procedures to be followed when handling a student i.e their application. Forms must be completed, signed properly. and in compliance. We must be aware of the process, system, and chain of communication at our institution. For example, if the policy states that after the student fills out the application, the representative should connect them with Financial Aid, then it is vital that they follow that step so the information can be represented accurately by the right body, and following policies.
