Title IX training is important because it helps create a safe and inclusive environment by educating people on their rights and responsibilities regarding discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. So far, I’ve learned about how Title IX protects students and employees from gender-based discrimination and the importance of recognizing and reporting violations. The training has also introduced key topics like consent and bystander intervention, which I’m still learning more about. I’m looking forward to gaining a deeper understanding of the resources available and how to contribute to a more respectful and equitable community.
