This training reminded me how important it is to always provide accurate, honest, and transparent information to our students and prospective students. Misrepresentation, even if unintentional, can impact students’ decisions and their trust in our institution. I learned the importance of making sure that all information I share about programs, outcomes, financial aid, and expectations aligns with official school materials and policies.
As a Program Director, I will continue to communicate with integrity, avoid making unsupported statements or assumptions, and ensure that students receive realistic and clear information. When I do not have an answer, I will make sure to seek the correct information from the appropriate source so that I can provide accurate guidance.
