I learned that CTE teaching is constantly evolving to keep up with changes in industry, technology, and student needs. Trends such as competency-based education, increased use of technology, work-based learning, and a stronger focus on employability skills show how important it is for CTE programs to stay relevant and flexible. I also learned that CTE teachers need to be lifelong learners who are willing to adapt their instruction as industry standards and workforce demands change.
I plan to apply this by staying current with industry trends, using technology when appropriate, and creating learning experiences that reflect real-world expectations. By doing this, I can better prepare students for both continued education and the workforce.
