Through this module, I gained a better understanding of how important instructional alignment is in the classroom. Making sure standards, lessons, activities, and assessments all connect helps students clearly understand what is expected of them and supports their success. I also learned that strong alignment is especially important in CTE because it ensures students are developing both academic knowledge and technical skills.
I plan to apply this by being more intentional in my lesson planning—starting with the learning goals and standards and then building activities and assessments that align with them. This approach will help keep instruction focused and make learning more meaningful for students.
