Since online learning can be either synchronous or asynchronous, the engagement of online learners in the process must be achieved at both social and motivational levels. Regardless of which teaching method we employ—as we have learned from this module—student engagement is of paramount importance. Fundamentally, this engagement helps foster intrinsic motivation, enables students to maintain control over their learning processes, ensures that students remain active throughout the process, and lays the groundwork for a meaningful learning experience. With the aim of fostering greater engagement, I plan to devote more attention to creating more interactive content. After completing this module, I gained various ideas for enriching my course content to enhance students' learning processes in a more meaningful way. Since this term is already past the halfway mark, I plan to implement this next term.
