Great information to instill on nursing students. The Medical & Nursing World are constantly changing! We all need to be ready for, accept & promote these changes. I disscuss this almost every day in the Theory class, with New Clinical Studies patients can become involved in, new medications for diseases that did not exist before.

After joining ACC as a clinical instructor in SNF's, I am shocked & amazed at the poor care given to patients in those facilities. The requirements for these facilities to get their "Star" ratings are ridiculous. I see there NEEEDS to be a change in how SNF's treat their clients/patients, there needs to be a change in how these facilities are rated, there needs to be a change in the education level of CNA's that do all the hands on ADL's for these patients. In ratings...should be based on patient/client outcomes.
