This course was helpful in educating instructors on the diversity of their classes and how to handle that diversity. Students come from all walks of life and are often motivated and learn in different ways. Us as instructors are trusted to provide students with individualized learning plans. By catering our teaching to meet the needs of each student they feel more heard and actively involved in their education. Addressing issues such as impersonal problems, people problems, issues with rules and limitations help the student adapt to the environment making learning easier and more enjoyable.
