My story telling usually involves a real example of what actually happened with a piece of equipment or doing  a test. I'm teaching a lab class. One example was when my brother damaged and injured his shoulder while lifting weights. The class is studying rad. testing/studies  and I shared the rad. test that he had done before actually having the surgery and what rad. tests and studies was done after surgery. I try to bring the real world into my class room so that the students understand how important it is to be accountable for ones action, how to work with a team, and how important little things are, even if it's just a smile, touch or saying thank you to the patient. I want them to learn that there's no "I" in the word team.
