This module reinforced the idea that student learning assessment is much more than assigning grades. Effective assessment provides meaningful information about what students understand, where misconceptions exist, and how instruction can be adjusted to improve learning. I learned the importance of using both formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, provide timely feedback, and support student success throughout the learning process. Assessments should align with learning outcomes and measure not only knowledge recall but also critical thinking, application, and problem-solving skills.
