I didn't just learn this as i am returning to education after a 3yr break, but A meet and greet as they enter is a great tool and definatly set the tone of good mood, care & positivity with enforcment of expectations like dress code, attitude, and proffesionalism . and the syllabus sets up the agreement that everyone should adhere to.
