High EQ

I believe that a student beleiving in themselves is one of the most important attributes for success. If a student believes in themselves, I can teach them the techniques. If a student doesn't, it is as if they are not listening.

Robert,

The best way to get students to believe in themselves is to truly believe in them. A teacher who believes in their students will treat them like they are capable. Eventually, the Pygmalion effect will take effect and the students will know they can because they are treated like they can.
