2 week checkup?
Does anyone have a one week or two week check in meeting with their new students as a group to see how they are doing?

I think this is a great idea, but it might be difficult to get them all in one place at the same time.

Lisa, one of the things I do here is to go into each new class and open it up for questions about how school is going, any issues I can help them with, when they get grades etc. I do this on week two and again on week seven of our ten week terms. I always ed by saying that "if you have any comment. questions or concerns come see me so we can take care of it before it seems to get to big" It opens the door for students to know they can come to me and I will do my best to get the issue taken care of.
