Area of Control

I believe all these concepts start in the Admissions Associates interview. The orientation should then address them again. Their perception will then start to become reality when all departments are on the same page.

Welcome, Michael!

You are absolutely correct that Admissions should be the first to relay this information. It cannot be over communicated. In many cases, these points are discussed with the prospects as part of the sales process. Large amounts of useful information gets collected during the recruiting process as well that needs to be passed along to assist in student retention.

Susan

I agree with this point during the admissions process students express everything theyexpect and fear about enrolling into a program these expectations and fears are addressed during the admissions process and should be continuously communicated and addressed during and after the orientation process.

Fiona--

Integrating that data is critical. Without a smooth handoff of this information retention efforts are forced to start over, which costs time. Unfortunately, many students leave before our internal communications catch up!
