TV Advertising Reps

We use a third-party contractor to help us with our meda placement and work with the TV Advertising representatives. What are some things we need to watch out for in working with a third-party?

We would recommend working with a third-party in much the same fashion that our clients work with us. Specifically, you need to be aware of what they are buying, why they are buying it, what creative they are running, why they have chosen to run that creative, what type of rate decreases they are obtaining through negotiating, etc. Basically, you want to know what they are doing and why they are doing it and that the results are as important to them as they are to you.

Are they really negotiating the rates in your best interest? Buy or negotiate some of the rates on your own with a particulat station to compare the rates that your third party is presenting to you.
