Billboards

Does anyone have any feedback about billboards on major local roadways? We are looking into it.

Hi Ryan
When considering bill boards consider the cost and whether your programs have a mass appeal. Bill boards are seen by thousands of people a day. But what percentage are likely to be quality prospects for your school? Compare that to the cost of billboards and what you could do with the marketing funds to reach qualified leads in more cost effective ways.

On the other hand I have seen schools successfully use billboards to get leads and mostly to create an image in the community. That's the benefit of mass marketing.
Best wishes
Susan

I would think radio would be more cost effective?

Hi Shelly - True the billboards cost a lot and not everyone listens to the radio station you can afford to advertise on. The secret to how to spend your marketing dollars is to determine what your ideal students look at. And to keep the information in front of them consistently. Another secret is to determine ways to get free or low-cost publicity. Or even better, what can you do to improve word of mouth and referrals? Best wishes, Susan
