Transfer of Credits

If a school closed down and you accepted those students to start where they left off in a course what would be requirement for the school that is accepting them to have in there records for those students, so they may finish the course they started.

That is a very good question, I believe one of the requirements is for the school to have an arbitration agreement with the closing school as well as similar programs.

Have the deans review transcripts to see if they are acceptable for advanced credit

Prior to enrolling the student, you should have their transcripts evalauted by the Dean of Academics.  That way you already have the transcripts in hand.  If the school has closed it will be the responsibility of the stduent to provide you with the transcripts or they will be scheduled for class.  I would recommend you assist the student by advising them to call the accredting body.

First of all their official transcripts, and is up to the receiving institution to accept them. and they have to check financial assistance status, they have to meet all admissions and financials requirement before enrollment.
