This becomes a very difficult conversation when potential students call about the transferring of credits....so it's extremely important to take your time and make sure that the students have a very clear understanding of what credits are transferable to you institution and which ones are not.

It is up to the receiving institution to make that determination. The student should seek their guidance on what will transfer to the next institution of their choice.

That is correct. We are a Nationally Accredited Institution and some of our potential Students seek Regionally Accredited Insitutions. They beleive that transfering from Regional to Regional guarantees transfer and that is not the case.

So many students just assume about the transferability of credit. There is a process and every school is different even between schools of the same accrediting body.
