Programs offered at your school?

What programs are offered at your school and how will you learn about the jobs students train for?

We offer Diploma certification programs specifically in IT Service Management, ITIL, ISO, MOF and Process Design. There are several national and local professional groups that publish job information, plus the networking at the monthly and annual conferences is excellent for job searchs and inquiries. (ITSMF and HDI). Also, we have found that just taking the courses offer the students opportunties to network with fellow practictioners in class and I have seen future job opportunities arise in many situations during classes. Of course, we also can do searches on the job sites such as Monster, searching on that particular certification and can see listings of jobs that are matched or requiring that cert.

Learning about the programs the career opportunities and knowing the experience of being in that particular program is great when offering your help to students

The programs offered at our school are Associate Degree programs in Information Technology, Electronics Technology, Business, Drafting and Design, Criminal Justice, and Health Information Technology. I learn about the jobs that Students train for through the program chairs and instructors at the school.

We offer all Schools at our school. I've been around to each Chair and discussed their programs. I'm planning on sitting in on classes also.

We offer several degree and diploma majors in health related fields in both online and hybrid learning models.

We offer 5 distinct programs at our school medical assistant (diploma), Medical office specialist (diploma), Medical Practice Management (Associates degree), Criminal Justice (Associates degree), and Computer Network Technician (Associates Degree). To get educated and remain current we have online program and career based training. One on One meetings and training with our program faculty who also work inthe field. We also look at job deescription online, role play, and do research on bls.gov
This allows us to feel comfortable about the program, the job responsibilities, and referring them to resources for information.

We offer completion certificate / diploma type courses for training specifically on solar and renewable energy technologies. Having a background at a solar contracting company for a few years now has definitley given me an advantage as far as letting students know what jobs are available or in better reach to them after completing our training. Knowledge is power and the best way to gain knowledge for me is the hands on experience which is also part of our training program.

My school offers 3 Associcate Degrees at this time and we have online options for Bachelor programs if the student wants another option of study.

Clyde,

You will have a great time and walk away with a new perspective that you can relate to your student.
