Determining Revision Improvements
In some instances students are asked to make revisions or improvements on their essay assignments.
What techniques do you use to check the revisions have been made?
Are their file comparisons or editing tracking features that you use?
Hi Esther, we use a couple of different strategies. In assignments, we have learners turn in drafts that we review and give feedback on via the assignment box. We also have learners engage in peer reviews. We also monitor discussion posts and will give feedback to learners asking them to elaborate on a post or extend their thinking.
Regarding file comparisons, we use track changes and generally the instructor will use two different browsers and open the feedback they gave on the learner's draft along side their final draft. Tina
