We recently started using webinars -- this is working well so far...it is a new approach...but, topics can be discussed, live time questions/answers/and discussions, and open to who needs the info. So far, not 'required', but finding good participation...hopefully because it is a good form of communication/learning, and not just a 'new thing' to try for the students. I can use PPTs or just handout files; or have an open discussion...very flexible.

erica,

This is good for students as well. That "live" touch helps the instructor seem more "human" and the students have a way to connect as well. Thanks for your input.
