Have a great topic in mind that will keep the interest of the students and also at the same time allow it to be educational.
Group topics are great, especially for students who are nervous when it comes to talking to the class individually.

Discuss how medical terminology helps diagnose disease
I like to have my students pick 5 medical terms froma given body system, then use the terms to write a case study using the SOAP method of documentation. My students really engage themselves and enjoy this activity!
