Teaching interaction
After covering a topic I will break the groups down by their tables. I will write down the main systems we are discussing on the board so they know what the topics of our discussion will be. Have each group add an explanation of the system to each topic and discuss the answers amongst the groups

I find it very beneficial to have students individually come up to the board and write their own examples and ideas in regards to the concepts being taught in class.

A big component of what our veterinary technology students will be doing in their careers is education pet owners. I find it very helpful to have them present topics and "educate" each other. It boosts their confidence as most of them are much more comfortable with animals than people :)
