Intelligence is fluid, not fixed, and can be learned. It is vital to encourage children to have a growth mindset when approaching learning.
In this lesson I learned that psychologists say that authentic people share common traits that display they are psychologically mature and fully functioning human beings.
One idea that really stood out to me is that education is not a one-size-fits-all. It depends on IQ, EI, culture, background, and personal experience. What works for one student might not work for all, so it is important to present information in multiple ways.
A key idea that stood out is the necessity of authenticity within this integration. To genuinely apply our EI skills, we must first be authentic—that is, acting in ways that are consistent with our true feelings, values, and personality. Without authenticity, our empathy can feel forced, our self-regulation might be unsustainable, and our social skills can come across as manipulative rather than genuine. The ability to be vulnerable and transparent is a prerequisite for effectively integrating all our intelligences.
EI enhanses one's ability to learn true from false.
EI takes over in all types of learning. Making your student(s) more familiar with EI can help in the entire learning cycle. Comparing book knowledge to real life scenarios can help with EI. and learning
Intelligence is fostered. It may be innate but it requires grooming.
As an Instructor it is of high importance to continue growing intellectually and challenge ourselves to change with the way of the world. There are many ways to develop our intelligence academically, culturally, and artistically. It is important to incorporate all different methods of learning for all students.
Authentic learning is something that I think we, as educators, strive for and I find that sometimes it is easier said than done.

In special education classes as a teacher, you need to account for very integrated and varied types of intelligence. Some students may be extremely academically gifted, but need support in social/emotional intelligence.
Integrated intelligence includes multiple methods of learning. Multiple methods of learning allow students with different learning styles to acquire new information in a way they can comprehend.
Intelligence is fluid and can be learned and improved upon. And as an educator, keeping my own intelligences skills honed, is the best way to motivate students and collaborate with them so they can learn as much as they want!
It is important to have a positive learning environment. There are so many things going on in the lives of students that can be distractions from learning. A posititive environment fosters creativity and ideas.
Intelligence is ongoing and can be developed. Having mastered multiple levels of intelligence models, makes the instructor the best possible for the students to learn.

Teachers must create opportunities for students to develop their senses, get to know themselves, and come up with answers/solutions.
