That licensing is required, but getting accredited is not. Because there are certain requirements for accredidation, not all instituions will go through with it. I also learned there is school accredidation and program accreditation, which is important to know about my own institution for prospective students.

Taking the time to sit in on lectures or training programs for different programs offered are important to helping a student get the whole picture of what your instituion/classes are like. 

All the information in the catalog and enrollment agreement are very important docuemnts and while they have it all written down for students, it is essential that we as admissions also inform students if they ask us or need more information so that they can hear it from us too. 

The rules and regulations are constantly changing and updating so it is important to not only re-learn the knowledge, but to take your time doing so. Taking a few days to cover it all so that you don't miss details and can make sure to stay informed to ultimately be up to date for prospective students.

Having a resource notebook is critical to stay up to date on regulations and policies so we are prepared to give accurate information to students. 

We must stay up to date when it comes to the university and knowing the latest with marketing to provide updates to students. 

It is important to know the necessary information to provide the most accurate information to the students. We need to understand the guidelines and procedures of our university at all times. 

I have learned how important it is to understand the rules and regulations of the university so I can best answer those questions to incoming and perspective students. 

I've learned to stay on track with Florida Commission for Independent Education.

I have learned how important these policies are. I now have a better understanding and i intend to use these tools in my career.
