I find in important that a prospective student fully understand the importance of the catalog

Note: that training is per school. If you previously did training at another college, you do have to do training again at your new employer.

As a current student myself I still use the course catalogs. I think they are a great informatmional tool.

I am brand new to admissions. I am glad they have guidelines becuase we want to make sure we are protecting the student and doing everthing for the student to succeed.

How long does it take to complete the enrollment packet on average?

Once the course is finished, what have you found to be the best way to keep current?

What if they don't say they want to be called when you collect their information, but when you do call them and they bring up the Do Not Call could you get in trouble?

How do we get the students and parents to believe that our accreditation are meaningful to the students? Because the internet blogs of people today really question wheather they are offical.

We have to maintain a grasp of the current rules and regulations. There are constant changes made to our processes and we must be diligent to keep up.

It is very important that you understand your institution so that you know exactly what you are presenting to prospective students.

In theory, a higher enrollment fee ensures more students showing up on the first day of class because they've already made an investment. But it can also discourage enrollment for some students.

The Resource Notebook is a great tool because policies and procedures are always changing. If you have record of important, if not all required policies, you have refer to it as needed. I print off everything important and place into a file because I will always need to refer to something sooner than later.

It is so important to look knowledgeable when a prospective student is looking for information. However, never guess at anything; misinformation, even innocently, can ruin trust and possibly drive away the potential. The resource notebook is your saving grace. Even if you don't know the answer, off the top of your head, having a reference handy that does shows that you are on your game.

Hello all. I'm a career changer and new to admissions, but very excited to be involved in helping others shape their futures. Even though I come from years of retail store management, one of my focuses, when guiding my employees, was to make their goals and aspirations my own. If they wanted to pursue an education, my support and encouragement was integral in maintaining a positive relationship and continuing their dedication to our company's mission. Yes, ultimately, they would leave and move on to another opportunity, but I knew that my attention to them would foster their future relationship with us as a consumer. Very much in the same fashion, heeding the call to be compliant with Ohio's provisions and following "the rules" at my college, ensures that each of my student's experiences remain consistent, equitable, and ultimately successful. In most ways, I am on the other end of an already paved path of support I've always given to people interested in pursuing an education. Glad to be here.

Having Trainings and team building experiences will definitly help when having to understand the work we do...even if the school as a whole dont hold them the indiviual teams should. What are your thought?

Each University, College and Institute has differnt programs that we offer to the communities that we live in, you have to know the talking points to be successful!

It is imporatant to know policy and procedure and in that when handling paperwork anmd following guidelines. These keep us in good standing with our accreduation snd students to make everything go well for our students!

Getting referrals in admissions not only helps the company, it shows that yoyu love what you do and keeps you on top of your product knowledge. How often do you discuss your job to others?
