What time durng the term should we introduce this material
This course was very infomative excellent course. I feel information need to be presented based upon the material being delivered.
Usually admissions are not part of my teaching, but understanding all the advantages of this course will help me retain any student who may fall through the cracks.
Eboni, I think the sooner the better
Cheryl, admissions are a vital part of retention. I will give an example. If a member creates and illusion that the program is more grand than it really is. Meaning, if they don’t keep with the facts of the program, students will get on the academia side and feel they were lied to and withdraw or go MIA.
I believe that it should begin the moment the student enters the program. That way you have a handle on it at the beginning, and then it doesn't get out of control.
