Compliance

Compliance to state, national accrediting agencies, and the DOE  regulations is of the utmost importance to schools and their employees who make financial aid available to their students. A course like CM102 is scary in that a person realizes how many regs there are out there, and that you play a huge roll in whether the school is meeting those requirements, or not.

I agree it is very intimitating to see all the regulations a school and it's staff has to stay in compliance.

I am 100% agree how important it is for an Admission Representative to know every thing posible about regulations.

I agree it's important AR to know it all

Compliance is the key to having a successful school!

every time you start work in a new place there will new rules and regulations to follow. It may be difficult at first but once you learn the procedures it is very simple and becomes second nature. Log books and note books and writing stuff down is very important.

compliance is always the best thin. it is always important to do everything the right way

every schools must follow each regulations for the best of our students and parents.

It can be scary.  But it is a worthwhile investment to have a potential Agent or Admissions Rep take this course before being hired to see if they are a good fit for this position.  An small investment now will prevent a long term loss later if you do not have the right person in position.

I would say it isnt scary as it is helpful. This course was a good reminder in keeping ethical practices and how to empower my staff to do the same.

I am in agreement. It is amazing the impact the proprietary industry went through in 2010 because of aggressive practices.

I shared the learning with our staff.  The handbook is the primary souce of information.
