Retention Training
Alot of information, but ever easy to manuver and i learned some keys things to do while at work to help myself as well as the students. Always nice to be reminded of what we can do to improve and to never forget what we have already learned. Nice teaching tools to take from.
Agreed... Good tool for reinforcing what we need as educators.
This was an easy training module. Due to the information is a normal trail of logic.
Great course. I would love to see our school do this training as a school. I think it could make a great difference in retention.

I am new to the academic field having completed a successful career in private dental practice. This course helped me understand much of what I used in my dental practice can be applied to my teaching career. This course was well worth the time and effort!
I agree that this is a great course. It includes important reminders on how to relate to students and conduct ourselves in front of them. Some of the things are easier to do than others. For the most part, I consider myself to be a fairly positive person but have occasionally given in to negativity and sarcasm. This is something I definitely need to work on but I am improving every day! I also think positivity is important even behind closed doors away from the students. If the instructors all have a "can-do" attitude and work together well, this will undoubtedly affect the students in a positive way.
I agree with you. Learning the do's and dont's are very important. Being a new adult eduication instrutor, I found this very imformative.
A very thorough and important course, the concepts we reviewed will help better understand my students and guide them as necessary.
More than anyting what I gained was the knowledge that it takes consistency from the entire school staff and that school activities are great morale boosters.
