Tianda you hit the nail on the head!  I really wonder sometimes what students actually perceive given the vast number of ways you can explain, visualize or write instruction.  I always try to remain open to the perspectives of my students adn allow them to discuss why they interpreted a question/comment a certain way. 

I feel it is a learning process to hear what they have to say even if the majority of the time I must add more detail or constructive criticism.
