Lead by example, give encouragement, enthusiasm, security, and understanding. Teachers are role models with professionalism as part of the goal. A leader can be a great example for students. Without strong leaders, there will be no strong students. We are here to support and motivate.

Exploring professional growth and development in your own career to help you constantly improve on your own teaching abilities. Reflecting on the instructors that impacted your learning and trying to find ways to engage students based on previous experiences.
Your students, like your children, will mimick you because you are their example. So it is important to model the behavior you want to see.
Professionalism is important. Teaching is more important. Learning is the main goal.
Always remain professional and lead by example.
As an instructor you wear many hats such as judge, cheerleader, model etc.
As leaders we have to understand that the model we display to our students is a reflection of what is expected from them. Building a rapport with the students is a key to their success and knowing the boundaries of friends and not pals.

When you walk in to a learning environment try to remember that you will be judged immediately. The way you dress, the way you carry yourself, sends messages of your standards and expectations. Lead by example.
