Be prepared, on time and ready to teach. Take an interest in your students. Let them know you care. Be enthusiastic about teaching and importance of learning. Remember we are human and make mistakes, just own up and admit to them and move on. 

To model and lead the classroom, and to maintain the professionalism with them that I want them to develop in their careers.

Don't change WHO you are, as that is usually a strong point in your teaching. However, it is so important to learn teaching strategies and improve the techniques of successful teaching.

Look neat and professional be prepared

Know your pass ,know your strength,know your school.

Conduct your self as a professional.

Always develop to become a better instructor.

Believe in what you teach and be a role model to the students.

talk with your students about areas of your teaching they may struggle with learning. Also be engaging and have things for students to engage with during instructions so you are not just talking the whole time (ex. videos or educational games). 

Practicing Professionalism and developing a teaching style that allows you to connect with your students in way that will allow them to retain information and better learn from your past experiences and knowledge that you have obtained throughout your time working in the field and as an educator.

I learned that professionalism goes a long way! Even the smallest parts of what it means to be professional will rub off on the students!

I learned a lot today....

Don't go into a classroom assuming you are the smartest there-always someone that knows more than you do

Be humble, understanding and have patience when sharing your knowledge

Be a model for your students and lead by example
