Self-monitoring and self-assessment are great methods of learning that are effective on impact for students. Reflection provides growth on a personal level for students, then as that develops, it leads to professional growth in terms of CTE, in the classroom and in practical knowledge for work and/or work-based learning.
One method I could utilize is the rubric, most likely the single-point rubric as described in this section. We use checklists regularly as required by FAA standards, to make sure the students develop the habits of flight safety, and well-maintained upkeep of their drones. For the part reflection has impact on, we have seen tremendous boosts in students' confidence, as the ones who have passed their FAA Unmanned Aircraft General written test have learned to master the material enough to pass the test, and now have become licensed remote pilots
