This module reframed the role for me . Admissions grew from a purely administrative function into one built on relationships, judgment, and ethics, so the complexity I'm feeling isn't a sign I'm behind, just a sign the role itself has grown. Requisite variety stuck with me most: no single script works for every student, and I'll be using the two check-in questions. Is what I'm doing working? If not, what else can I try? Going forward, I'm focused on listening first, staying flexible in how I communicate while keeping information accurate, and not being too hard on myself over early mistakes.
