What I’ve Learned and How I Intend to Apply It

Through this module, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the importance of intentional reflection, empathy, and open-mindedness in both personal and professional settings. One of the most impactful takeaways for me has been the value of integrating well-being practices into my daily routine.

Moving forward, I will begin and end each workday with reflection, using the PERMA model and strength-spotting exercises to stay grounded, recognize growth, and maintain a positive outlook. This will help me stay aligned with my values and bring my best self to each day.

I also plan to be more mindful in every interaction—with students and colleagues alike—by practicing empathy and active listening. Rather than rushing to solve others’ problems or making assumptions, I will approach situations with curiosity and an open mind, asking thoughtful questions and seeking to understand before responding.

These practices will not only enhance my own well-being but also contribute to a more supportive and collaborative environment for those around me.
