From this module, I have gained a deeper understanding of what makes leadership effective, including the importance of values, vision, trust, empathy, and emotional intelligence. I’ve learned that leadership is less about authority and more about inspiring, supporting, and aligning people toward a common purpose, especially during times of change or uncertainty.
I intend to apply these lessons in my work by:
Leading with transparency and integrity, ensuring my team knows not just what we are doing but why.
Actively listening and showing empathy, so team members feel heard and supported, strengthening engagement and collaboration.
Communicating a clear, compelling vision, repeatedly and through multiple channels, to maintain alignment and motivation across dispersed teams.
