Some tools may not be appropriate for all courses and it may not be necessary to use all tools within the tools, but testing them out may reveal other functions that may be useful. Regardless, instructors should be well versed in any tool that is used so that they can help with any problems that arise and be able to instruct students in the full and proper use.
