That sounds like a very good idea. I don't really have the experience to speculate here. It sounds like this class required daily communication, or at least more so than the ones I have taught. very online class I have taught has been either twice a week or once a week. I lay my assignments out with a final due date and let them know that they can turn their work in at any point up to this time. I make the due dates in the evening as well, so they have a few extra hours. At this point, I have gotten a sufficient number of complaints about the difficulty of the work, but, in this system, time managment is rarely an issue. I will certainly keep your ideas in mind if I get a chance at a new course. Thanks!
