Using Visual Methods: Reflection and Application
This module emphasized the value of visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and videos, in enhancing students' understanding and retention of complex information. Visual methods help clarify abstract concepts, break down processes, and engage different learning styles, making the material more accessible and memorable.
To apply these strategies, I intend to incorporate visuals like flowcharts for medical procedures, labeled anatomy diagrams, and short instructional videos. I’ll also use concept mapping as a collaborative activity, allowing students to visually organize and connect information. This approach will not only improve comprehension but also help students retain knowledge effectively, preparing them for practical application in clinical settings.
