One other activity that we have incorporated into pre-clinic involves placing small smily face dots at the location of each of the lymph nodes in the head and neck region as students are learning how to locate and identify lymph nodes as part of their extra-oral exam.
It's fun to see all of the smily faces with the distribution of the lymph nodes easily observed.
