This module taught me that AI can be a useful tool for lesson planning, but it should not replace my professional judgment as an instructor. AI can save time by helping create things like practice questions, vocabulary activities, different versions of assignments, and lesson templates. However, it is still my responsibility to make sure the information is accurate, current, appropriate for my students, and meets industry standards.
I plan to apply what I learned by starting with simple, low-risk planning tasks and using AI to help save time. I will review and adjust anything AI creates before using it with my students. As I become more comfortable with it, I can gradually use AI for more planning tasks while still using my own experience to make the final decisions.
