This module taught me how to use AI more strategically instead of using it for every task the same way. I learned when to use the Tell approach for simple tasks and the Team approach for more complex problems. I also learned the importance of checking AI-generated work for accuracy, bias, current industry standards, and workplace relevance. I plan to organize and save prompts that work well, track whether AI is actually saving me time, and continue using my professional judgment to make sure anything I use meets the needs of my students.

This module taught me the difference between the Tell and Team approaches. I learned that the Team approach works better for more complex problems where I know what I want students to accomplish but may need help finding the best way to get there. AI can help explore different strategies for differentiation, scaffolding, performance tasks, and combining technical and soft skills. I plan to use this approach when I need new ideas or solutions, while using my own experience with my students and the medical field to decide what will actually work in the classroom.

This module taught me how AI can help create lesson objectives, outlines, practice activities, assessments, rubrics, and materials for different student levels. I learned that giving AI clear and specific directions makes the results more useful, but I still need to review everything for accuracy, appropriate difficulty, and real workplace relevance. I plan to use AI to save time creating different versions of activities and adapting materials for my students while using my own teaching and industry experience to make sure everything meets the needs of my students.

This module taught me that AI can be a useful tool for lesson planning, but it should not replace my professional judgment as an instructor. AI can save time by helping create things like practice questions, vocabulary activities, different versions of assignments, and lesson templates. However, it is still my responsibility to make sure the information is accurate, current, appropriate for my students, and meets industry standards.

I plan to apply what I learned by starting with simple, low-risk planning tasks and using AI to help save time. I will review and adjust anything AI creates before using it with… >>>
